Eloquent is a speaking and communication coaching app. You can practice with prompts, record audio, get AI feedback on precision, presence, and calibration, follow lessons, and take part in a 30-day challenge. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Eloquent.

This policy applies to Eloquent on iOS, Android, and Web. By accessing or using Eloquent, you agree to the practices described below and to our Terms of Service. To request account or data deletion, see Delete account & data.

3.1 On Your Device

Account data, profile, progress, and preferences (e.g. SharedPreferences) are stored locally on your device.

3.2 Our Backend

Our servers receive and process: audio files, transcripts/rewrites, profile-derived context, device ID, and your Firebase ID token for authentication.

3.3 Third-Party Services

If we use an internal debug or ingest endpoint in production (e.g. for diagnostics or usage), we may send such data to our own servers; we will process it in line with this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Data may be processed in the region where our backend and service providers operate. For example, PostHog analytics are processed in the EU (eu.i.posthog.com). Firebase, RevenueCat, and our backend may operate in other regions (e.g. the US). Where we or our processors transfer data outside your region (e.g. from the EEA), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required by law.
